NudgeLaterPrivacy policy
In one paragraph
NudgeLater is a local app. What you share with it is saved on your phone so it can remind you, and it is never sent to us or to anyone else. There is no account, no cloud sync and no advertising. Only anonymous usage counts and crash reports are collected, and you can switch them off (see below).
What the app stores
When you create a reminder, NudgeLater saves its title, the link or text you shared, the source app name derived from the link, the time you chose and its status (upcoming, opened, done). Your settings (preferred times, theme, language) are also saved. All of this lives in the app private storage on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. Backups to the cloud are turned off for the app.
What we collect
The content you share (links, text, titles, notes) is never sent anywhere. The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to receive anonymous usage counts (for example, that a reminder was scheduled or opened) and crash reports. These include technical data such as an app-instance identifier, device model, Android version, app version, country and crash stack traces, and are processed by Google on our behalf. We do not use the advertising ID, and we do not use this data for advertising. You can turn this off at any time in Settings > Anonymous usage and crash reports. We do not run a server for the app.
Purchases
NudgeLater Pro is sold through Google Play. The payment is handled entirely by Google; we only learn, through the Google Play Billing library on your device, whether your account owns Pro. See Google’s privacy policy for how it processes purchases.
Permissions
Notifications: to show your reminders. Run at startup: to restore upcoming reminders after a reboot. Exact alarms (optional): only if you choose Precise reminders in Settings, to deliver at the exact minute. You can refuse or revoke each one; the app keeps working without exact alarms.
This website
This website does not use cookies and does not load third-party trackers. Links to Google Play open the Play Store and include a campaign parameter so we can tell which page a visit came from; no personal data is attached.
Children
NudgeLater is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
